How It Works

STEP 1. HOME MEASURE

Free home measure and design visit to discuss your individual requirements

We will visit your home and discuss your requirements, what is important to you in your new room, different storage solutions, appliance options etc…we will also take the full room measurements and check your electrics, gas and plumbing meet current legislations.

STEP 2. DESIGNING YOUR DREAM ROOM

We prepare amazing CAD designs for you. We discuss and agree final touches. You can participate as little or as much as you choose!

Once we have an understanding of your requirements we will produce some designs that will meet your needs and that will truly amaze you. We will arrange an appointment in our showroom where we can start putting the final touches to your design and room solution options. We will only proceed when you are completely satisfied with the design for your new room. We can install for you or you can make your own arrangements.

STEP 3. INSTALLER SURVEY

Our approved installation team will visit and check

If you choose to have an installation with us then within 5 days of placing your deposit our approved installation team will visit your home to check everything and confirm any additional works such as electrics, plumbing, gas, tiling and flooring. Whilst they are there they will also take you through a final check of the design.

STEP 4. DELIVERY

Delivering the products for your new room ahead of the installation

Delivery for your products normally takes place a few days before the installation starts, but if it’s more convenient we can deliver on the day of the installation starting. All our deliveries are made by local reputable courier companies that have the same customer service ethos that we have.

STEP 5. INSTALLATION

We install your project whilst you sit back and watch it take shape

If you have selected our installation service we will be managing all the different trades to arrive at the right time to ensure your room is completed to the highest possible standard. Installation will start on the day agreed. We will remove and dispose of your old furniture, you can just sit back and watch your new room start taking shape over the coming days. Upon completion will undertake a full project sign off.

Interiors Direct are Kitchen & Bathrooms Installation specialists, having gained over 30 years within this industry. The acquisition of their Which? accreditation is testament to the high standards of workmanship they undertake.

How Which? assess their traders

Which? Trusted Traders is an endorsement scheme run by Which? that recognises reputable traders who successfully pass an assessment process carried out by our trading standards professionals. Not just anyone can become endorsed. The assessment process includes:

This is obtained to validate the financial health of a business who applies to be assessed.

Customer satisfaction

The endorsement team will check a selection of customer references from 10 domestic customer details chosen at random by the assessor.

Business procedures

A thorough examination of business and administrative procedures to ensure that businesses have consumer interests in mind.

Interview and assessment

Standard assessment includes a face to face visit and interview carried out by a Which? trading standards professional to fully understand all aspects of how the applicant runs their business.

Report

Businesses receive a report of the assessment, providing valuable feedback from our experienced assessors to ensure that they meet our high standards before they are allowed to join the scheme.

Who makes the grade?

Those who don't make the grade don't get endorsed. Due to the high demands of the assessment, not all businesses that apply get through the assessment process. Only those who meet high standards can become Which? Trusted traders.

If things go wrong

An extra benefit of Which? Trusted Traders is they have an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution service, Dispute Resolution Ombudsman, on hand should something go wrong. This problem solving service provides peace of mind for both consumers and traders.
